A storied legacy enhanced with modern elegance

Situated just outside London in Surrey, Wentworth Golf Club, established in 1922, has a storied history, hosting the forerunner of the Ryder Cup in 1926. Over the years, it has been the prestigious venue for renowned championships such as the BMW PGA Championship and World Match Play. In 2017, the West Course at Wentworth underwent a significant facelift, including the revitalisation of greens, tees, approaches and bunkers. The standout features of this upscale renovation were the introduction of 007 Creeping Bentgrass and Sub-Air technology on putting surfaces. Turfgrass® is actively involved in providing agronomic specifications for the course, ensuring optimal conditions for both everyday play and the BMW PGA Championship.
