The Solheim Cup combines the tradition and prestige of the game of golf with passion for one’s country.
This biennial, trans-Atlantic team matchplay competition features the best U.S.-born players from the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour and the best European members from the Ladies European Tour (LET). Held every two years, the event has grown into the most prestigious international women’s professional golf team event. The Solheim Cup is the most highly coveted trophy in women’s professional golf team competition.
Turfgrass® have provided an invaluable and highly effective service as the official agronomists to the European hosting of The Solheim Cup for the past 12 years. With the successful delivery of The 2007 Solheim Cup, Halmstad, Sweden, The 2011 Solheim Cup, Killeen Castle, Ireland, The 2015 Solheim Cup, St. Leon-Rot, Germany and The 2019 Solheim Cup, Gleneagles, Scotland.

Appointed as Tournament Agronomists, Julian Mooney of Turfgrass worked closely with the Ladies European Tour (LET) on the successful delivery of The 2007 and 2011 Solheim Cup Tournaments.
Turfgrass have provided a highly effective agronomy service for the Tour over the past 11 years.
