Harlequin Hotels & Resorts today signed a Grow-in, Maintenance and Agronomy agreement with Turfgrass Consultancy to manage their new Liverpool Football Club International Football Academy Soccer School at Buccament Bay Resort in St. Vincent and The Grenadines.
This is a ground breaking deal for Turfgrass Consultancy to enter the Caribbean market and manage a Premier League specification football pitch. As part of the agreement, Turfgrass Consultancy will employ a full time member of staff to manage the training academy and the cricket pitch.
This brings the number of facilities Turfgrass Consultancy manages to five with further facilities expected to be announced in 2012.
Commenting on the new agreement, Turfgrass Consultancy Managing Director John Clarkin said: ‘We are delighted to work with Harlequin Hotels & Resorts on this exciting project and hope this leads to a long and fruitful partnership between both companies.’
