Golf Club Föhr, Germany

Golf Club Föhr was founded in 1925 and is the third oldest club in the northern part of Germany.

Situated on the island Föhr in the North sea, it is possible to visit and play the course year round. As a result of growing visitor numbers the club expanded to 27 holes and completed a total renovation in 2014.

The result is a “wild” links style course design, looking like a typical north german “Geest” landscape with natural obstacles, marram grass, ponds and sandy wasteland with heather and gorse.
