Golf Construction Management

Turfgrass Consultancy are project managers for a number of new and existing golf course developments. The service entails:

(a) Overseeing the tendering process

Assist in preparation of the Construction Specification documents.
Assist in preparation of the Bill of Quantities.
Prepare the Tender package documents.
Invite and shortlist reputable international golf course contractors.
Negotiate the purchase of materials such as rootzone, rootzone amendments, gravel, drainage pipe, all maintenance machinery, irrigation valves, heads and pumps, seed and starter fertiliser through working relationships with all of the key golf industry partners.

This will result in significant cost savings for the Client.

(b) Provision of a Golf Construction Manager

Turfgrass Consultancy can provide a full time Golf Construction Manager for the construction of the new golf course, ensuring all aspects of construction meet the architects specification before each stage is passed. This quality control of the construction phase ensures the golf course gets built within budget and on time. It also ensures that the golf course does not require costly remedial work in years to come to fix any problems under the surface.
The Golf Construction Manager will have previous experience in working in such climatic conditions, skilled in building the highest quality golf course and knowledge of growing in a golf course to the finest championship standard.
